Our honey twist on cookies, themed for a bat Halloween and finished with black licorice.

Bat Honey Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp honey
- black licorice

- Mixing bowl
- Wire rack
Step-by-Step Instructions

Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Cream the butter and sugar, then beat in the egg.

Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt.

Stir in honey and the chocolate chips.

Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheets and bake for 10 to 11 minutes.

Cool on a wire rack.

Cut black licorice into bat wing shapes and place on top.
